This release is special because it has a long history. Blotchy is a legend in our community, he is a DJ and one of the founders of the seminal event Cold Turkey which was based in Cape Town, this event formed the beginning of not only Big Space’s professional music career and many others. Blotchy has now finally elevated from the DJ game to the production world with seamless vigor, incorporating his bass heavy dark and eerie UK Dub inspired sound with some broken Bacardi house drums by Big Space to create this “Tuareg on Ketamine” essence that is “The Tower of Babel”.

Fun Fact : Blotchy and Big Space became house mates and good friends when Big Space got “fired” from his job and no one wanted to rent him a place to live, let alone be around him as the death threats kept pilling up. Blotchy is a good man. He still showed kindness and support when Big Space got tuberculosis when they lived in the same house and did not treat him like he had leprosy unlike some other people did.
